AUTHOR: Slublog DATE: 3/26/2004 08:26:00 AM ----- BODY: Hello Out There - James Lileks points out in his Bleat today that the media seems to be ignoring Richard Clarke's rather, um, contradictory statements on the Bush administration's response to terrorism. Personally, I stopped listening to Clarke when he made the laughable assertion that the Clinton administration had "no greater priority" than international terrorism. The national media's willingness to simply take Clarke at face value, when they ignored whistleblowers like Linda Tripp, Gary Aldrich, Robert Patterson and Kathleen Willey is astounding. The media partisanship displayed in their selective coverage of stories is not going unnoticed. As I said before, look for Fox News to have the best ratings of its existence this year versus CNN, MSNBC and the big three networks. Cartoonist Henry Payne gets it. --------
