An Appeal to Democrats - Peggy Noonan pleads with Democrats - stop Wesley Clark. I think Noonan is on to something - many words have been expended about the looniness of Howard Dean, but Wesley Clark is much more unhinged than the former governor of Vermont. Dean knows what he believes, and believes passionately in it - Clark has no idea what he believes, but really, really wants to be president. A man with no core beliefs does not have the leadership abilities needed to lead a country. Clark won the early voting in Dixville Notch, NH - which only goes to prove just how craven and self-absorbed the average New Hampshire voter can be. The only reason Clark won the voting there was that he was the only major candidate to visit that town. Can someone please explain to me exactly why we let those people have so much say in picking our presidents?
