On 'The Passion' - If Mel Gibson's movie is half as good as the entertainment value of the controversy surrounding it, it will deserve every award Hollywood won't throw at it. (How's that for a convoluted sentence? I'm only on my first cup of coffee here.) Rabbi Daniel Lapin, in today's NRO, has a good piece critical of those who have protested the movie before watching it. Rabbi Lapin says some of the rhetoric used about the movie, not the movie itself, threatens to harm the warm relations conservative Christians have with those of the Jewish faith.
